ESD Flooring Test Meters

The PMK 152 Advanced Resistance Test Kit contains the instruments you need to take resistance measurements in accordance with ESD Association Specifications. Included in this custom kit is the PRS-812 constant voltage, wide range ohmmeter with data logging and calculating capabilities. Fully portable and battery operated, the PRS-812 measures resistance from <0.1 to 1.0 x 1012 ohms with measurement accuracy of +/-5%. It can be operated in fully Automatic, Automatic-Manual and Manual modes. Fully automatic, the PRS-812 controls test voltage, resistance ranging and electrification period to make the most accurate and repeatable measurements available to ESD Auditors and technicians. The Prostat PRS-800CS Cable Spacer Set insures proper 36-inch point-to-point measurements each time. These convenient tools easily slip over the PRS-801-W handles to properly align and measure for you.

The PRS-801-W electrodes are precision milled resistance probes with conductive rubber pad for use with Prostat's PRS-812 Resistance Meter. The PHT-771 Digital Psychrometer is a highly accurate, battery operated temperature and humidity indicating instrument. Its large LCD displays both temperature and humidity measurements simultaneously.

The GAP-005 STAT-GUARD ground adapter plug is included in your kit as a convenient attachment to a functional ground circuit. Its intended operation is to provide an ESD ground path to a previously tested receptacle for Prostat instruments and personnel during audit operations. It is not intended as an electrical circuit tester or monitor. The STAT-GUARD plug is manufactured by Ideal Industries, Sycamore, Illinois.

A new addition to this kit is Prostat's exclusive Floor Test Manual. This manual gives you step-by-step instructions with illustrations on performing floor measurements in accordance with ESD S7.1. It also provides instructions for performing Body Voltage Charge Generation and Body Voltage Decay with additional Prostat Accessories available.

All instruments and accessories are packaged in a molded case for easy access and storage.

The PFC-252 Professional Floor Certification Kit is specifically designed for anyone who is verifying floor performance to ANSI/ESD S20.20, IEC 61340-5-1, or other company requirements.

The PFC-252 includes Prostat's PRS-812 Resistance System Set with modified 5 pound conductive rubber electrodes and Prostat’s Cable Spacers for exact measurements. The PRS-812 wide range resistance system can take measurements at 10 and 100 volts with accuracy within +/-5%.

Also included is the PFK-100 Field Meter Set. The PFK-100 set includes Prostat's unique PFM-711A dual range field meter, CPM-720A charged plate monitor assembly and PCS-730 +/-1 kv charging source. With this instrument set you can measure electrostatic fields, analyze ionizer performance and assess the voltage generation of materials, equipment and personnel.

The PGA-710 is a unique electrostatic data analysis device for use with Prostat's PFK-100 Fieldmeter/Charge Plate Monitor Set. It records, plots, analyzes and automatically constructs reports of body voltage generation, electrostatic decay, voltage retention, ionizer performance and other static measuring functions. Its analytical features document and automatically calculate projected levels of typical Human Body (HBM) voltages. It helps determine the risk of equaling or exceeding damaging or hazardous HBM discharge voltages in static sensitive facilities on the floor.

The PGA-710 is a unique electrostatic data analysis device for use with Prostat’s PFK-100 Fieldmeter/Charge Plate Monitor Set. It records, plots, analyzes and automatically constructs reports of body voltage generation, electrostatic decay, voltage retention, ionizer performance and other static measuring functions. Its analytical features document and automatically calculate projected levels of typical Human Body (HBM) voltages. It helps determine the risk of equaling or exceeding damaging or hazardous HBM discharge voltages in static sensitive facilities.

The Autoanalyzer links to a Field meter’s analog output and lap top computer’s USB using provided cables. Its Autoanalysis Applications software converts your instruments into a digital chart recording system with automatic analysis and reporting features. The PGA-710 will perform measurement and recording functions, perform data analysis, generate charts, then construct and print out complete reports, including the facility’s ambient temperature and relative humidity during each test.

The PGA-710 can be used as a freestanding data logger or recorder for later downloading to your computer. It will communicate with your computer via USB or RS-232 COM port.

The PGA-710’s unique software will instantly perform mathematical and statistical functions to assist ESD Program Managers and Plant Auditors in defining strengths and weaknesses of the ESDS device transport and handling process. The PGA-710 will calculate the 3-Sigma ranges of Walking and Standing body voltages in your facility, graphically plot the percent probability of equaling or exceeding specific body voltages in the process, and calculate the maximum, minimum and average of voltage generation or decay times.

The PFK-100 set includes Prostat's unique PFM-711A dual range field meter, CPM-720A charged plate monitor assembly and PCS-730 ±1 kv charging source. With this instrument set you can measure electrostatic fields, analyze ionizer performance and assess the voltage generation of materials, equipment and personnel.

The battery operated PFM-711A Field Meter is a compact "electronic chopper" design with accuracy of +/- 2% at ambient conditions (23ºC and 30%Rh). It features automatic polarity, measurement "hold" button, low battery indicator, high and low ranges, distance ranging lights for accurate and repeatable measurements, manual zero control and a ground snap. With the supplied analog output cable, it can be used in conjunction with an X-Y plotter or any analog data-recording device.

The CPM-720A Charge Plate Assembly is 3.25 inches square. It attaches to the PFM-711A field meter for ionizer balancing per ANSI/ESD-S3.1, voltage or charge generation and voltage suppression analysis.

The PCS-730 +/- 1 kV Charging Source is used to charge the CPM-720A to +/- 1,000 volts to measure ionizer decay and material decay. These three instruments are match calibrated to work together for accurate and efficient auditing.
